Booking requests
How to approve or reject booking requests from your public page.
Every booking made on your public page lands here first (/requests) as a
pending request, not directly on your calendar (unless you've turned on
auto-confirm, see The public booking page). The
list shows an "Existing client" badge next to customers who've booked with
you before, handy when scanning the list quickly.
Approving a request
Open the request and click "Approve." The page re-checks live availability for every time the customer requested, so you never approve something that's since been taken by another appointment.
- If the customer requested 2 or more times, a picker opens so you can choose which one to confirm, or "Propose a different time" if none of the offered ones work for you.
- If they requested only one time, this picker is skipped entirely and you go straight to the next step, with no "different time" option.
Either way, the chosen time opens a pre-filled "New Appointment" modal (client, service, staff, date and time already set) that you can still edit before final confirmation.
"Propose a different time" starts from a blank modal
If you pick this option, check the date/time and duration carefully before saving: the modal doesn't suggest the next available slot automatically, it starts from entirely blank values.
Rejecting a request
"Reject" opens a separate modal with an optional reason field (sent to the customer if you fill it in) and a "Send rejection email to customer" toggle that's on by default. If you turn it off, the customer won't get any notification that their request was rejected; they'll only find out if they check back or ask you.
